INTRODUCTION
Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO) was established to professionally and integratively manage intellectual property originating from the implementation of the Tridharma of University to provide legal protection, generate added value, and enhance the academic reputation of Universitas Gadjah Mada.

To provide intellectual property management and protection services that are ethical, effective, efficient, innovative, responsive, and globally competitive.

To become a center of management and protection of intellectual property which is ethical, innovative, and globally competitive, in support of the Tridharma of University and Universitas Gadjah Mada’s meaningful contribution to the local and the global.

Establish an adaptive center for Intellectual Property (IP) information and policy.
Develop strategic partnership for the utilization of IP based innovations.
Facilitate intellectual property management for the academic community of UGM.
Provide legal protection for innovative works and leading research.
Optimize the downstream utilization of UGM’s intellectual property for industry and society.
